Looking for glass pipettes or closures to fit your dropper bottles? Freeman & Harding supplies glass pipettes, dropper caps, screw caps, atomisers and brush fitments for compatible GL18 bottles. Our pipette lengths suit specified bottle sizes from 5ml to 100ml, including separate options for standard and squat 30ml bottles.
Whether you produce essential oils, tinctures, cosmetics or other liquid formulations, choosing the correct fitment helps your customers dispense the product as intended and reduces avoidable packaging waste. Both the neck fitting and pipette length need to match your bottle.
Browse our products, then use our bottle-to-pipette compatibility guide and GL18 explanation to choose suitable options for your next filling run. Bottles and fitments are sold separately, so check the specifications and pack quantities for both before ordering.
Essential oils, tinctures and similar liquids demand packaging that performs reliably during everyday use. Our glass pipettes allow customers to draw liquid into the tube using the bulb, then release it in drops for controlled application.
This makes them a practical choice for suitable serums, skincare solutions, facial oils, beard oils, aromatherapy blends and other beauty formulations. Controlled dispensing can help customers apply smaller amounts and reduce unnecessary product wastage. At Freeman & Harding, we supply a wide range of dropper bottle fitments and pipettes.
For pharmaceutical applications, confirm that the complete bottle and dispensing assembly meets the requirements of the intended product. A dispensing pipette should not be assumed to deliver an exact measured dose.
Glass is generally nonporous and chemically stable, making it a useful material for liquid packaging and dispensing. The clear glass tube also allows customers to see the liquid drawn into the pipette.
However, glass should not be assumed to be completely inert with every formulation. Check compatibility with the entire assembly, including the glass, bulb, cap and any seals, before filling.
Our product range includes high quality glass pipettes designed for compatible dropper bottles. Check the individual listing for its length, closure colour and available options.
For light-sensitive products, pair your chosen fitment with suitable amber glass dropper bottles. Amber glass helps filter UV light and reduce light exposure, making it a practical packaging choice for sensitive oils and formulations.
The finished product’s storage requirements still matter. Confirm that the bottle and closure provide the protection your formulation needs.
Pipette length must suit the bottle’s internal height and shape. A shared capacity does not always mean two bottles use the same pipette.
The following combinations apply to our specified amber bottles:
The 82mm pipette does not fit our squat 30ml bottle. Choose by bottle style as well as capacity, rather than assuming that a longer pipette will be suitable.
GL18 is a standardised 18mm screw-neck finish used on glass dropper bottles. It identifies the neck fitting that must be matched to a compatible closure.
GL18 does not describe the bottle’s capacity or determine its pipette length. Two bottles can share a GL18 neck while needing different lengths of glass tube, as with our standard and squat 30ml bottles.
Our GL18 fitments include pipettes, atomisers, brush fitments, self-seal screw caps and caps with dispensing inserts. Check both the neck specification and the dispensing attachment against your chosen bottle.
Compatibility plays a major part in achieving a suitable seal between the bottle and closure. A correctly matched fitment helps reduce avoidable leaks and product waste during storage, packing and delivery.
Tamper-evident options are available within our range, including caps with drop dispensing inserts and pipette assemblies described with tear bands. These features provide a visible indication of opening when fitted and used correctly.
Check each product specification before ordering. Tamper evidence and child resistance are different features; one should not be assumed to provide the other.
Selecting the right lid starts with the bottle, the liquid and the intended result. To make the right choice:
Our pipettes are listed in packs of 100 and 1,000. Check the minimum pack quantity and current stock on your chosen listing. Where products have multiple variants, select the required option, including black or white cap colours where available.
Different liquids call for different closure styles. Pipettes suit controlled application of small amounts, atomisers suit spraying and brush fitments suit products that need direct placement.
Caps with drop dispensing inserts offer another option for dispensing suitable liquids. Self-seal screw caps provide a closure where a dispensing attachment is not required.
Essential oil blends can vary in viscosity and composition, so the same fitment will not necessarily suit every formulation. Choose according to the product and intended use.
Spare dropper bottle lids make it easier to maintain stock continuity, replace damaged fitments and support repeat packing runs.
Consistency matters when products need to look professional across every order. Keep a record of your matched bottle, pipette length and closure specification to make repeat purchasing more straightforward.
