Upcycling Your Jars

Upcycling Your Jars

Upcycling jars is a creative and sustainable way to give them new life instead of throwing them away. Here are several ideas for upcycling jars:

Preserving your left over food:

Re-use your old jars to pickle or preserve left over fruit and vegetables. We recommend using new lids from our range.

Saving your coins:

Use a larger jar as a coin holder for all your change. Save it up for a special occasion, holidays or treats.

Use jars and bottles as vases for fresh flowers or table decorations. Decorate the outside with paint, ribbon, or twine for a personalized touch.

Arrange jars on a tray or in a drawer to hold makeup brushes, pens, pencils, or art supplies. You can also mount them on a board to create a wall-mounted organizer. Declutter your junk drawers, clear jars make it easy to see what you're storing.

Create miniature gardens inside jars by adding soil, rocks, moss, and small plants. These can be lovely decorative pieces for your home    or office. Our 720ml pickle jars are great for this.

Herb Garden:

Plant herbs in jars and place them on a sunny windowsill for a convenient and attractive herb garden. Make sure to provide proper drainage by adding rocks or gravel to the bottom of the jars. You can also turn them upside down to create a mini greenhouse.

Insert candles or LED lights into jars to make lanterns for outdoor gatherings or to add ambiance to your indoor space. You can decorate the outside with paint, tissue paper, or washi tape to create different effects.

Serving Herbs and Spices:

Use our 105ml round jars to create a smart spice storage area. They can also be used for homemade jams, sauces, or salad dressings as gifts or samples. Glass jars could also deter your cat from stealing all the catnip!

DIY Gifts:

Fill jars with homemade treats like cookies, cakes, or hot cocoa mix to give as gifts for special occasions. Decorate the lids with fabric, ribbon, or twine for an added touch.

Craft Projects:

Get creative with jars by painting them, decoupaging them with paper or fabric, or turning them into snow globes or sensory bottles for kids. You can also repurpose them into pretty decorated votives.

These are just a few ideas to get you started, but the possibilities for upcycling jars are endless. Let your imagination run wild and see what unique creations you can come up with!
